  Food was very nice although quite expensive for what it was. Two mains (gammon, egg and chips, and burger and chips), (two kids meals, sausage and chips) some onion rings and a round of soft drinks came to over fifty pounds. It's a nice pub but when you are overlooking the bar from the restaurant and you have the big screen TV with sports on, I kind of hoped for something a little more for your buck.

  The Angel Inn is in a great location with lovely views. We were impressed with the food, good quality produce expertly cooked and presented. Staff efficency and friendly will book a room next time we are in Bowness.

  Great location. Very clean and friendly. Free parking and Wi-Fi. Cannot complain at all and would recommend to anyone who is in the area.
